Hi, I'm Bexy!

I became a committed Christian at the age of 9, when I asked my Sunday School teacher to pray with me after a very moving lesson about why Jesus died for our sins. This was a turning point for me, even though I had been fortunate enough to be raised in church life and had the support of my entire family. I fully believe in the verse in Proverbs that says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6); because even though being a follower of Christ in today's world can be a daily struggle, I was greatly blessed to be trained up in the ways of the Lord, and I know that with the help of my Christian family and friends, I will not depart from it.

I got married in March of 2009 to my husband, Chris, and we are enjoying life in the frozen north of Canada. I work in a Daycare Centre with lovely children who keep me busy and smiling through each day.

In my time as a chatter, I have received some wonderful advice, some very wise and compassionate words, some intense prayer and made some amazing friends; and I hope the same for you in your experience with us. While I look for continued support from my friends, I hope to also be able to offer some words of wisdom to someone who may need it.
