Hi folks, just a little bit about myself.

I have been blessed to be brought up in a very strong christian family. My parents always put God first, encouraging others on the way . At the age of 10, my parents began fostering and adopting children with Down's Syndrome. You can imagine at 10 years old, it was lovely to be a big sister to so many babies. Having this upbringing, it led me to work with children/adults with learning difficulties. Thanks Mum and Dad !

I attended a Methodist church for many years, at which I became a Sunday School teacher for reception aged children . It was so good to share the good news with children so young, who are so keen to soak up stories of Jesus.

I slowly started slipping away from God. It wasn't until the year 2000 when I became aware of all the things God was doing in my life . I felt His spirit move within me, His closeness when things were difficult, and His love, and hope when things were too much .

I'm not going to say much more , as this is supposed to be an introduction!

What I would like to say is that no matter how bad things seem, God is always with us. Thanks to God, He gives us the chance to start afresh each and every day. I have had some very difficult times in my life, and those who know me, know I am more than willing to listen, share and empathise .

I really pray that God uses me in this way, helping to show others hope and a way forward. In 2005, my life turned upside down. I was so glad to belong to a christian site, where I could talk to people day or night. It was my life line, and I am forever grateful to those people who listened and encouraged me. They are still great friends years later! Thank you.
